Dr. Rebecca Stock – Psychologist

Dr. Rebecca Stock is a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She believes every individual deserves a personalized treatment approach and works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

Dr. Stock earned both her Doctorate and Master’s degree in School Psychology from St. John’s University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women.

She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Dr. Stock is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) and has received specialized training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), equipping parents with effective strategies to support children experiencing anxiety and related challenges.

Dr. Stock has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan and from diverse cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She provides treatment for a broad range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), selective mutism, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and eating disorders. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), she also collaborates closely with schools to support students’ academic achievement, emotional well-being, and behavioral success.

She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Behavioral Science Institute and her predoctoral internship at Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants, where she received advanced training in CBT and DBT while providing individual, family, and group therapy. Her clinical experience also includes conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations and providing therapeutic services in both school-based and community mental health settings.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Stock has contributed to research examining the perception and measurement of clinical competency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based psychological care through both practice and scholarship.
