
Laura Berglass is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. She brings a holistic perspective to care, considering both physical and mental health when developing individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
Laura earned degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Northeastern University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Duke University in 2021. After gaining experience in family and pediatric primary care, she pursued advanced psychiatric training and completed a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health at Johns Hopkins University in 2026.
Laura is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and certified in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), an approach influenced by her background as a yoga instructor. She integrates therapeutic techniques with medication management when appropriate to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care.
Laura is committed to creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where young patients feel heard and understood. She values collaboration with parents and caregivers and believes that supporting and empowering families is essential to a child’s long-term emotional health and overall well-being.
